Rochester's 4 Game Win Streak Snapped by BSC Buffalo
Bryant and Stratton Buffalo comes to Rochester and takes down the Lady Bobcats
Rochester, NY – The Bryant and Stratton Rochester women's basketball team took on the Bryant and Stratton Buffalo campus at home, Sunday evening, trying to win their 5th game in a row. Ultimately, the Buffalo campus ended the Bobcats win streak at 4 games, downing Rochester, 65-58.
Rochester got out to a strong start taking the lead for the first 2 minutes of the contest. As the half progressed, Buffalo turned up the pressure defensively and hit big open shot after big open shot. Rochester struggled to keep pace or get in a rhythm.
This was the second time Buffalo has beaten Rochester this season. The Lady Bobcats will go back to the drawing board and make adjustments on both sides of the ball with hopes to see the Buffalo campus for a third time in the coming weeks.
Head Coach Sean Knorr said on the matchup, "We didn't execute and got out played. Our rhythm was off after the first two minutes of the game and we were scrambling from that point on. We will get this fixed, this happened last year. Buffalo has a great squad and we will see them again."
The Lady Bobcats of Rochester are now 4-3 on the year, and their 4 game win streak has come to an end. The team will look to right the ship following just under a week break as it prepares to take on Clarkson University (NCAA DIII) in Potsdam, on February 26th.
