CORAOPOLIS, PA — Sixth-seeded Bryant & Stratton College Rochester opened USCAA National Tournament pool play in emphatic fashion on Thursday afternoon, stunning No. 2 seed Five Towns College with a dominant 6–1 victory at Montour Junction. The Bobcats exploded for three goals in each half and rode a hat trick from freshman forward Yassine Kone to take early control of Pool B.
The underdog Bobcats wasted no time making their presence felt. Kone opened the scoring at 22:32, pouncing on a loose ball and finishing to the far post for a 1–0 advantage. Just 28 seconds later, he struck again—this time off a setup from Tomas Dinis—as Rochester stunned the higher seed with a rapid 2–0 burst.
Less than five minutes later, the Bobcats pushed their lead to 3–0 when Michael Ingallinera beat his defender and buried an unassisted finish in the 27th minute. Ingallinera added an assist later in the match, continuing his strong run entering the national tournament.
Rochester carried that momentum into the second half. Kone completed his hat trick in the 52nd minute, tapping in a feed from Ingallinera to make it 4–0. Fredrik Tidemann added a fifth goal at 75:52 off a service from Joshua Jarvis, and Thomas Piriz closed the scoring with a late strike from Kyle Morley in the 89th minute, sealing the Bobcats' 6–1 statement victory.
Goalkeeper Louka Carion-Janes earned the win with four saves in 75 minutes, anchoring a Rochester defense that limited Five Towns to just five shots on goal. Vincent Mueller handled the final 14 minutes in net.
Despite being the No. 6 seed, the Bobcats controlled long stretches of the match, showing efficiency in the attacking third and composure during a physical second half.
