Explosive Second Half Offense Sends WBB Past Jamestown CC
Rochester, NY - The Bryant and Stratton Rochester women's basketball team took on Jamestown Community College on Tuesday night. The Lady Bobcats took down Jamestown by a final of 106-81.
Jamestown and Bryant and Stratton played a neck and neck first twenty minutes, with the Lady Bobcats heading into the break with a six point lead over the visitors. The second half is when the Lady Bobcats began to flourish as they outscored Jamestown by 19 in the final twenty minutes to come out on top 106-81.
Kathryn Kanhoye led all scorers in the game with a game-high 23 points knocking down 5 three pointers in the win. Her starting mate Dorian Sharp was right behind dropping 22. Ten different Lady Bobcats made the scorer's book in the victory.
With Tuesday night's win, the Lady Bobcats have improved their season's record to 5-3 on the year. Next up for the Lady Bobcats is the Bryant and Stratton Albany campus, back at home, on Saturday March 13th. The game is set to tip off at 4pm and will not have spectators.
