Just coming off a loss by D'Youville the night before, the Bobcats travelel to Finger Lakes to hopefully bounce back in this game. The Lakers and the Bobcats met for the first time under lights at the Lakers new facility. The Bobcats were looking to apply pressure early in the but an early concussion injury to starting keeper James Hogan (Newcastle, England), forced Head Coach Darren Wynne (1st Year) to make a switch and put Thomas Plowman (Cambridge, England) in the net. The game really go the way of the Bobcats. Fortunetly, FLCC played an ineligible player in the game and had to forfeit their over all win. Coach Wynne had this to say, I received a call from the Head Coach a day later and told me the unfortunate news. I felt really bad for Vince (FLCC Head Coach), because he has a very good team and his team will push to make post season in November. Sometimes things like this happen and it's really not the coaches or the players fault. Its really unfortunate and we wish FLCC the best for the rest of the season. It was great for Garrick to get his first goal for the college and he was very excited about it. The Bobcats now turn their focus on Monroe Community College next week.
