Bio

Dan Schaffer is in his second year as Bryant & Stratton’s head basketball coach.  Schaffer graduated in 2001 from The College at Brockport with a BA in Physical Education.  In 2009, he received his Master’s Degree in Education from NOVA Southeastern University.  Schaffer has worked in the Rochester City School District for 18 years as a Physical Education Teacher. 
 

Schaffer has coached at both the High School and Collegiate levels at McQuaid Jesuit High School as an assistant coach, a Graduate Assistant Coach at University of Dayton, an assistant coach at The College at Brockport, and most recently as an assistant at Nazareth College. He was an assistant coach at the College at Brockport while Brandon Williams, John Ivy, and Brandon Caruthers were members of the team. He also has worked numerous camps and clinics including Jim Boeheim’s Syracuse Basketball Camp, Mike Hopkins Elite Basketball Camp and Kevin Broderick’s Nazareth Basketball Camp.

Dan lives in Rochester with his wife Annmarie and two boys, Adam (5) and Ryan (1).
