MBB Gets Revenge Victory Over Villa Maria
Strong Second Half Pushes Bobcats Over Vikings
Rochester, NY – The Bryant and Stratton Rochester men's basketball took on the Vikings of Villa Maria on Saturday, for the second time this season. The Bobcats got revenge on their early season loss to the Vikings, coming out on top by a final of 88-82, in overtime.
It was an all around effort from the Bobcats defeating the Vikings on Saturday night as every Bryant and Stratton player that saw the floor got their name in the scoring column.
Villa Maria came out of the gate strong taking a seven point lead into the half. But Bryant and Stratton was able to respond in the second half outscoring the Vikings by those 7 points to send the game into overtime. The Bobcats stayed poised in the extra frame, taking home their second victory of the year 88-82 the final.
Victor Caldwell and Fred Foster were two bright spots for the Bobcats both scoring season highs in the victory, while Marcus Zappia continued his streak of scoring double figures.
The victory gets Bryant and Stratton back to their winning ways, pushing their record to 2-6 on the season. The have a few days off before continuing their homestand on Thursday, when Bryant and Stratton Buffalo comes back to town.
