A tale of two halves in the Capital Region
ALBANY, NY- The Bryant & Stratton College of Rochester Bobcats traveled to Albany, NY to face their sister campus the Bryant & Stratton College of Albany Bobcats on Friday night. This was the first of two planned meetings between the two campuses.
Rochester dominated the game for the first 20 minutes holding and taking a 10 point lead at the break. Albany shot 0-9 in the first half from deep and did not attempt a free throw.
The second half was a much different story for both teams. Rochester would struggle to find any inspiration and find themselves down as much as 10 with 4:00 to go in the game. They would fight back to cut the deficit to as low as two and miss a dunk with under 2:00 to play and consecutive turnovers helped Albany take a five point victory, 64-59. Rochester held Albany to 18 first half points and gave up 46 second half points.
Up next for the Bobcats.... A quick turnaround for a home game Sunday, January 27 against the Fisher College Falcons our of Boston, MA. The two teams met on December 16th with Fisher able to pull out a win on their home floor. This is the first of a 4 game home stand in 8 days for the BSC Rochester Bobcats. Tip off is at 2pm.
