Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Basketball, a Rochester Grown Team
The time has come and the inaugural Rochester Bryant & Stratton College basketball season is almost underway. There are a number of similarities on the inaugural Bobcats roster, something that's proven to be valuable early on.
“We come from pretty similar backgrounds, so that helps with the team chemistry,” Freshman Terrance Bouie said.
When fellow freshman Kenyan McGahee was asked why he chose to play for Bryant & Stratton College, he said, “I wanted to be a part of a team full of Rochester guys.” McGahee has been playing for Head Coach Clay Pittinaro since high school. “He took a chance on me and I was like, why not give him a second chance at trying to capture a title for Rochester.”
“These guys actually inspire me,” said Pittinaro when asked what he did to inspire his players. “They took their lives, put the brakes on, and did something for themselves.”
Being a Rochester based team is powerful amongst the entire roster and they are using it to motivate them.
Coach Pittinaro and the players want you come show your support this season and, as McGahee stated, “Come witness greatness!”
