Bobcats come up short on Boston trip
BOSTON, MA - The Bryant & Stratton College- Rochester Bobcats lost to the Fisher College Falcons 69-45 on Sunday at the Winsor School in Boston, MA. A sluggish start doomed the Bobcats as they only managed 12 points in the first half and finding themselves down 15 at intermission. Rochester turned their effort around after the break almost tripling their output and scoring 33 points in the second half and holding Fisher to 32. It was too little too late as the Falcons outrebounded the Bobcats 42-28 for the game. In what will probably stand as a record for the college, Rochester only committed six fouls the entire game.
This was the first of two meetings between the schools this season with Fisher set to come to Rochester on January 27th. The high-level competition doesn't let up for the Bobcats after Christmas. Up next for BSC is a trip to Springfield, Ohio to face the Wittenberg Tigers on December 28th. Wittenberg is the all-time winningest NCAA Division III program in the country. They are currently ranked 11th in the country and sit at 8-1. The 'Cats will turn around and face Wabash College on December 29thand they are currently ranked 21st in the nation NCAA Division III and are 8-0.
